Join Mid-Ohio Foodbank in Increasing Hunger Awareness through "Art Action"What is "Art Action"? Students will learn about the issue of hunger in Ohio and the United States through a hands-on regional art showcase that runs September through November 2013. K-12 educators can use this opportunity to help students explore information, issues, and potential solutions re: the conditions of hunger and food insecurity. Students can then express their understanding of the issue through the creation of an interpretive visual art piece.
Timeframe: Interpretive visual art must be submitted prior to November 27, 2013. Mid-Ohio Foodbank will host a demonstration/celebration event on December 4, 2013 for participating students, teachers, parents, guardians, and friends. Let us know what you did! Please complete and submit a project report form so we can let others know what you and your students did to make a difference re. the issue of hunger!
